It seems as though my posts for today are resonating of food. What's up with that? I am seriously a fat man trapped in a tiny asian lady...

Thin Mint

Loving Rachel Comey's men's shoe line. Would love a pair of the chocolate brown/mint oxfords for myself.

Mi casa es su casa

"Opening Ceremony Los Angeles launched the "Little House of Accessories” with some promising notes as the sun was on our side for our mini block party-like festivities. Guests feasted on rice burgers and ice cream while they socialized around the new addition to the landscape on La Cienega. Guests were surprised to see that the “Little House” took such literal form with our "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" inspired décor: oversized animal jewelry cases, dangling doll legs modeling our shoe collection, and gigantic pushpins that hold down the colorful array of Proenza Schouler PS1 handbags are just the beginning. The fun mix of good friends, family, and loyal OCers made for a perfect christening to the expansion of our LA mini-mall."

Jak + Jil Pic of the week

Androgyny at its best.

Loving this shoot with Cameron Diaz. For me, it evokes a little bit of Madonna circa Blond Ambition World Tour, sprinkled in with a little Drew Barrymore circa 1990's (think Guess ads and Boys on the Side).

I always dig it when someone is able to be transformed/morphed into a completely different persona. It's like a breath of fresh air.

Lock it up in the boot

This Ann Demeulemeester boot for men is out of this world. Definitely some eye-raping involved if I ever saw this on a dude.

Loving these new styles from AA. I have not taken my ass over there in a while, and it's hard not to want to go. These items are definitely on my hit list. AA shopping spree here I come. .soonish.

Say Grace

(All images beautifully taken by

You can check out more pics of her amazing wardrobe changes on
So I watched Grace Jones at the bowl yesterday night and wowzers does she still have it going on.
Of Montreal performed before her, and they also brought out Janella Monae as a surprise guest
for one of their songs. Wish I took pictures. Bad blogger, bad.

If you have time to watch this video of Grace Jones covering Edith Piaf's "Le Vie en Rose" you must see her epic
costume! This was one of my favorites. Once you get to her doing a little spin, you'll come to see she's pretty much
naked on the other side. Can you believe she's 61?? I better have my shit together still by that age.

This was my favorite song for the performance: My Jamaican Guy. She had this tassle/whip-like thing attached to the front of her skirt.
It looked super intimidating..I think I need to attach it to all my skirts. Slap off all the unwanted jerks that try to dance with me...ha.

To say the least it was epic. These videos don't do it justice, but they will do.

Where the party will be tonight.

Happy Birthday Marrisa!!!!!

Mo's pick: The F/W 09 Boot

Can I just tell you? I have been on the hunt for the next wedge black boot, and by George I think I found them. I have an old pair, but they're so old and tired and they need to be put to rest. $630 bones. Let's just hope I can accumulate that much before they're sold out.

Detailing awesome.

I can never turn down black and white stripes.

Don't worry you fine blokes out there, I didn't forget about you. ;)

Sorry I just had to throw in that cliche phrase in there, but in this case it really does make me wanna holler.

Urban Outfitters' $5 sale going on now both in stores and online. Worth checking out, some good deals, some where you know...uh...gee, no wonder it's $5 dollars, dude.

LEW is a collection designed by Kim Leemans and Merel Wicker who are based out of Amsterdam.

Love their play on colors. I especially love their more masculine looks because it's still sprinkled with a little bit of femininity.

LEWlight s/s’09 collection now available at Lock Stock & Barrel, Amsterdam.
