N Y ___C

Society for Rational Dress Sandals

Whew...i'm exhausted. Had a nice little breather of a trip to NY. It was so so nice to be there. I can't write too much right now, but I just wanted to say that I'm alive. I have lots and lots of photos to share with you, and I can't wait to post!

I only had four days there-due to school and work...but I had to come in to the big apple for a fund raising event for my friend's restaurant that is about to open down there. So exciting! On monday I did do a bit of work...visited some show rooms, and what not. So i was semi-productive. :)

More updates later on in the week! So glad i missed the hottest day in los angeles, which was a whoppin 115 degrees. F-that...I was treadging in the pouring rain the last day in NY, but I'll take that over my burning flesh any day.

Thanks for the lovely comments below everyone. Yes it was super surreal experience. I will be visiting you all soon to return the love. :)

(In Chanel)

(Zhang Ziyi in Prada)

Photographed by fashion photographer Yu Tsai, styled by Melissa Rubini, style assistant Monique Aquino

Whew...took me a minute to find whatever images I could find, but these few images will do for now. This is the editorial shoot that I worked on for MUSE magazine. For this day we had shot about 10 looks at Smash Box Studios in West Hollywood. The collections used for the shoot ranged from Balenciaga, a Prada latex dress (which Zhang Ziyi's last picture is in), Chanel jewelry and wardrobe for days (I was literally dying), and so much more.

It was a really cool experience, but not gonna lie, being in that whole industry of editorial work is tiring, LOOOOONNNNGGG, and exhausting. But well worth all the eye candy.

It was such an honor to see Yu Tsai in action as well as working with Melissa Rubini.
Yu Tsai is reknowned fashion photographer and has done impeccable work that I'm sure if you don't know about him by now, his work is highly recognizeable. You must click on Melissa Rubini's link too, she has done most of Prada's most recent campaigns, among other things.

On another note....I must say out of the whole issue...I really did enjoy the clothing and shoot of Liu Wen a little bit more... actually a lot more of my stee-lo...duh...

Liu Wen

Um..um..yum. Break me off a piece of that kit kat bar!

Empty Space

treasured finds and souixante ring taken with my HTC evo. wee!

Hi, hi, hello!

Yes, I've been hiding under a rock. Same shpiel....work, school, work, personal emotional turmoil, blah, blah, blah. But now I am back to my comfortably numb self. Yay!

Here are a couple picture updates. Uploaded today. I finally got a decent phone and a decent camera attached to it. I just bought the HTC EVO, and this thing is freaking insane. I don't know how I ever lived without one!

I still have so much fun fun fun stuff to upload...things have just kinda been winding down...so I will be updating on shit I have been uber lagger laggerston on.

I am securing so much fun fun fun stuff for the store I am building, and just hired on Olivia to be a part of the creative team...and between all of us at the office, it is going to be of epic proportions!

Meet Olivia.

This seventeen year old is like no other.

Anyway....stay tuned..and thanks so much for stopping by til' this day...especially since i've been a bad, bad, updater. I will come by to say hi to you all soon!

a M U S E

First off, I want to say how sorry I am for being under the radar. This is due to a few number of things...such as personal emotional bull (mercury retrograde I blame all of my emotional turmoil on you), school work...will be graduating next spring, so I am hauling ass right now to finish that. On top of creating and building a new stellar shopping destination for the world to follow...I have been locking down some goodies folks!

Other than that I am fighting off bad guys, changing into my cat woman outfit by night, walking old ladies across the street, and keeping world peace, etc..... ;)

Not to fear, I will be attending Fashion's Night Out, in my neck of the woods...so I will be documenting that...As well as maybe trying to get a few portraits up of myself...I am so out dated in that department.

As far as this picture goes....I'm going to assume the shoot I helped style for will be in this upcoming issue of MUSE. I am going to deduce this, because this fine young actress is thee MOST successful Chinese actress in all of China. Stay tuned, as the images are truly brilliant, and I am so glad to have been a part of it. Happy Friday!

"Anja Rubik in red light shot by Sølve Sundsbø and styled by Marie Chaix plays the hot and modern China on the cover and announces a glamourous story inside. Super edgy mix of international style and fashionable Chinese details shows influences from the Asian Country towards Western culture and its sense of drama."
