1 Year of Buttons & Bows in DTLA!

As we move into the month of April, we approach our store's 1 year anniversary of being open on the streets of Downtown LA. April 5th, is the exact date, the date that we opened shop in hopes of offering people the best of vintage & designer resale. In the 1 year that we've been opened, I'm happy to say that we do & will continue to do just that! Discovering, curating, & helping our customers find their next favorite piece of clothing & accessory is what our team here does best! In honor of BBLA's 1 year, I thought it'd be fun to go back and share some fond memories that have happened since being opened. To those of you who have been super involved with the store, you know who you are, and that includes our loyal shoppers, thank you, thank you, thank you! BBLA wouldn't be here without you & because of that, we promise to always give you what you want, which is only THE best vintage & designer fashion.

Who Are Some Of The Most Stylish Boutique Owners in Town?

Refinery says, Karen and I are! And we cannot be more surprised, happy, excited, humbled, & just flat out in a state of "surrealness".

Our style is a part of our lives, something that we naturally put energy, time, and pride in. Owning a store makes that even more important as our customers look to us for impeccable merchandise & fashion inspiration. That's why Karen and I are very adamant about making sure that only the best vintage & designer pieces are offered at Buttons and Bows. And we make sure that everything still mirrors our fun & eclectic style. I guess that makes our store an extension of our closets, which is how Buttons and Bows first started. Karen and I opened an e-bay store where we sold our own clothes that we no longer wore. And now to be on Refinery getting recognized for it just pure AMAZING!

Please share in our pure elation & read about the other store owners that we had the privilege of sharing this feature with.

Till next time,

New March Lookbook: Don't Call Me Baby

Supermodel Muse: Jade McDaniel with M Model Management
Master Behind The Lens: Jesse Fiorino
Make-Up Maven: Claire Marshall
THE Hair Handler: Anna Lee Fiorino
Stylists: Karen Marley & Monique
Styling Assistant: Leah Bickel

New month, new lookbook! This time, we've got Jade, our super model muse, in outfits not suitable for babies. No ma'am! It takes real womanly confidence to pull off these looks. Choose from the Black & White Cardigan from Something Else, the Long Burnt Orange Silk Dress from Funktional, to the vintage Red Jumpsuit. The best part about these pieces? They can all be transformed into different looks with the magic of accessorizing. Casual-ize that Something Else sweater by pairing it with a simple knit top, skinny jeans & flats. Turn that Funktional silk dress into an evening gown by pairing it with some strappy heels, an up-do, & some dangly earrings. Make that jumpsuit work appropriate by throwing over a blazer, black pointy stilettos, & classic black bag. Our lookbook is meant to inspire you to create your own outfits with the fabulous merchandise we sell. Happy shopping & happy styling!
